The Pupil Premium gives schools extra funding to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils. Funding is allocated to children from families who are currently known to be eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) and for children who have been looked after for more than 6 months (including adopted children).
From 2012-13 this included children who have been eligible for FSM at any point in the last 6 years or 'Ever6'.
