The student leadership team at KSS is crucial in ensuring that the students have a voice in the running of their school.
Using our school 'Core Values' (as seen below) students are elected to join the leadership team to talk about key aspects of school life.
In addition to this, the school elects Prefects from Key Stage 4 (they help with the running of events and support their peers to build resilience), Senior Prefects (they organise the prefect team through effective communication skills) and the Head Student Team (this is made up of Deputy Head Students and the Head Students).
The school also has students that support with the student led equipment shop and as form time monitors.
All aspects of student leadership join together to support the Headteacher and the wider staff in moving the school forwards.
